History tells me that the packing activity expands to fill the time allowed. Hence there is little incentive to pack early knowing that I will be packing almost up to the minute. Advantages of packing early should be the identification of items forgotten. However, while traveling, I invariably discover something that has been overlooked. One could analyze this and say I am being inefficient – I am spending way too much time on something I will forget anyway.
I feel a bit unsettled, perhaps feeling a bit unprepared.
