When we landed in Dusseldorf, it was sunny and clear. But, true to form, the skies darkened and we were blanketed in the traditional Nordrhein-Westfalen overcast. Alas.
We only had a couple hours on a Sunday afternoon before we had to head out, but it offered the opportunity to re-wander the Altstadt, get some frites with satay sauce, and get a little homesick.
